Holidays

Sunflower will be closed to observe the following holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday (the day after Thanksgiving), Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. Tuition is not reduced during these weeks.

Closures

Sunflower will hold two Professional Development Days for all staff members, which will result in the center closing for a full day. Parents will be notified at least one month prior to that date to allow for appropriate and timely arrangements for their children.

Snow Days

Sunflower does not close when area schools do, but there may be a time when the weather is very severe that it is deemed necessary to stay closed or close early to assure the safety of the children and staff. Parents will notified through ProCare.

Sunflower utilizes automatic payments through Procare for tuition payment. Weekly billing is required for all families. Payments are posted and invoices are sent on Mondays. Payments are batch processed on Fridays. Charges are based on dates that have already occurred; you will not be charged for any future dates.

Late Pick-Up

Sunflower closes at 5:30 PM; therefore, if your child(ren) is not picked up by that time, you will be charged $5.00 per child every 5 minutes past 5:30 PM.

Enrollment Deposit

An deposit of one week's tuition will be required once your child is accepted for enrollment. This deposit will be applied to your first weekly bill once your child has begun. This deposit is non-refundable.

Fundraising Fee

Sunflower is a non-profit entity and relies on fundraising to help keep tuition as low as possible therefore, each family is required to participate in fundraising events. Any family that does not participate will be billed a non-participating fee, varying by event, but ranges from $25-$100.

Legal & Collection Fees

Families are responsible for paying fees incurred by Sunflower associated with obtaining full payment for their contracted amount. This includes a $20.00 fee for any returned payment.

A two week written notice is required for withdrawal from Sunflower.
